JULY CURRENTLY

Can you believe it's already July?

Listening - I LOVE watching cooking shows!  I especially love the competition shows - Cupcake Wars, Cake Wars, Donut Showdown, Top Chef, etc, etc.  I think Chopped is top on my list because these chefs have no idea what ingredients they will be working with.  It's amazing what they come up with!  Oh, and The Pioneer Woman...how can i forget her.  Ooh, ooh and Giada de Laurentiis!  I can go on and on.  Let's just say if I wasn't a teacher (well, stay at home mom now), I'd be a chef!

LOVING - I've always wanted one of these planners so I finally gave in and bought one (thanks to my TPT earnings)!  I've only had it a few days and I am loving it!!  Now that I'm a life planner owner, I am starting to discover that there are plenty of serious planner extraordinaires out there.  Just go to Instagram and search #erincondrenlifeplanner or #planneraddict and you'll see some pretty amazing planner layouts!

https://www.erincondren.com/

THINKING - One can never have too many flair pens!  Since I have a new planner, I NEED a new set, right?

WANTING - I really, really want to attend the TPT Conference in Vegas!  I just had my sweet little man this past February so it's just not in the cards this year.  My husband says I can go next year for sure!!

NEEDING - Not much to explain here!  I haven't had a mani and pedi in months!!  I'm hoping my hubby will agree to watch little man so I can run away for a little because I desperately need it!

ALL STAR - People think I'm shy and quiet when they first meet me, but if you really get to know me, I'm an overall happy person and I like to have fun!  I know it might be annoying to some people, but I love to smile and laugh and sing and dance and get silly and just have fun!  Oh and when my sister and I get together, it's on!

Keep smiling because life is a beautiful thing and there is so much to smile about! - Marilyn Monroe

DARE TO DREAM

It's week two of the TPT Seller Challenge!

This week's challenge...share our hopes and dreams we hope to obtain through TPT.

FAMILY - After over ten years of trying, lots of heartbreak and many, many prayers, our dream of having a child came true!  It has always been in our plan for me to stay at home if we were ever blessed.  So, I am hanging up my teaching hat and putting on my mommy hat.  Now that I will be a WAHM on TPT, my hope and dream is to build my TPT store so that I can earn enough to at least have our family live comfortably.  It's going to be tough, but I will work hard at it!

MAKE CONNECTIONS - I'd love to make connections with other TPT sellers.  There are so many talented teacher-authors here on TPT I'd love to meet, get to know better and learn from.  Who knows, maybe some of these connections may turn into life long friendships!

TRAVEL - Now that we have a little one, we plan on traveling more and showing him the world!  I also hope to one day make my parents' dream of going on an Alaskan cruise come true.   I've never been on a cruise so we may just join them!

COOKIES - Besides making products for teachers, I love baking and decorating cookies.  Right now, I just make cookies for friends and family. I hope the knowledge I gain from selling here on TPT can help me with my dream of running my own cookie business!

Now that you know all about my hopes and dreams...link up and tell us all about yours!

THE SUNDAY SCOOP

I'm linking up with The Teaching Trio for The Sunday Scoop!

Have to:
  • Boy oh boy does my three month old make a lot of laundry!  My poor boy spits up a lot because he has reflux.  Plus, he got so many clothes as gifts, I'm trying to get him to wear everything before he outgrows them!
  • I don't look forward to packing up my classroom.  First of all, I'm going to miss it so much!  Teaching is all I've known for 17 years!  My plan is to take inventory of everything I have and only take home things I feel I'll need in the future (I may go back when little man gets older).  The other things like shelving, plastic containers, games, etc. will either be donated or sold.
  • I admit it...I'm a mail stacker.  Let's just say I need to fix this problem because I've been late in paying a bill or two or three.  Yikes!

Hope to:
  •  Now that I'll be home, I'm trying to make more products for my TPT store because more products = more sales.  We'll need the extra money since we'll be down to only one income.  Eeek!
  • I try to get in as much sleep as I can but sometimes my mind is racing or I end up doing things around the house!

Happy to:
  • My husband and I prayed and prayed for our little one and after ten years of trying, we were finally blessed.  I take every chance I can to spend time with him.  I love when he falls asleep in my lap.  I can't help but stare at him in awe...he's finally here and he's beautiful!

Now it's your turn to link up!  What are you doing this Sunday?

MAY CURRENTLY

It's time to link up with Farley again!

Listening - My in-laws flew in this weekend for my niece's baby shower so there's been a whole lot of Disney Channel watching going on.  I've never heard of Sophia the First until now.

Loving - My little man is now two and a half months old.  I can't believe how quickly he is growing!  I am really enjoying spending time with him.

Thinking - I miss my sister!  I wish she didn't live so far away.  Thank goodness for WhatsApp and FaceTime!

Wanting - I am craving a nice cold cherry limeade from Sonic...so refreshing!!

Needing - It's been months since I had a haircut!  I'm seriously considering going short.  I figure it would be easier to maintain especially with a new baby.

Summer yes - We'll be headed to Colorado to celebrate my husband's 40th!  We are going to rent a big house and many friends and family will be coming along.  My hubby is excited for the off roading.  I'm excited for quality time with family and just relaxing in beautiful Colorado.

Summer hope - I really need to organize my office.  There are piles of mail everywhere.  I admit I'm a stacker. Yikes!

Summer dream - I'd like to take a trip home to see my family but it'll be a while before that happens.  I'm not sure I can survive a 17 hour trip with my little man just yet.

Happy May!

FEBRUARY CURRENTLY

Is it really already February?

I'm linking up with Farley at Oh Boy Fourth Grade for this month's currently.

Listening - Not bad Idina!  My favorite is still Whitney Houston's version.

Loving - My parents flew in from Guam about a week ago.  I am so thankful that they get to be here for the birth of my first child!  They've been really helping around the house and helping me prepare baby's room too.

Thinking - I'm still trying to gather everything my long term substitute needs to take over.  I wonder if someone has an editable long term sub product.  Thank goodness I don't have to write actual lesson plans.  My awesome team leader is going to have the sub plan with the team.

Wanting - I have so many products started.  If baby comes sooner than expected, it may be a while before they get done and posted.

Needing - Two baby showers = lots of thank you notes!  I really need to get these done!

Pageant Title - Little Miss Sugar Cookie.  I love baking and decorating sugar cookies!

Go SeaHawks!

Now it's your turn to link up.

Enjoy the rest of your Superbowl Sunday!
